Won't do it again.

Now I remember one of the reasons I never call in sick to work. I got in this morning and there are a million things to do. There are system changes that went in over the weekend that are affecting our work today, and all sorts of other crap.

I realize I'm allowed to actually be sick enough for the first time since I started here (7 years ago) to call in, but damn it, that's like admitting I'm weak and I can't accept that. Do I have some deep psychological issues? Perhaps, but I generally keep them under control.

Back to work for me know and maybe I'll have the one day of accumulated work cleared off by the end of the week.
