Ran across this story while I was catching up on my news this evening.
Beer Truck Heist In Downtown Mpls.
May 3, 2005 6:06 pm US/Central Minneapolis (WCCO) A suspect stole a Budweiser beer truck from outside Target Center in downtown Minneapolis Tuesday afternoon, police said.
The funny thing is, there's this bar near the office I used to work in called 'Half Time Rec'. Every other day there was Guinness truck out front in the morning and I always used to think about how great it would be to steal the alcohol truck (this was back in my drinking days). Granted, I never acted on my thoughts, but still, it's nice to see someone else thought it was a good idea.
Too bad the thief didn't wasn't able to get his drunk on, since all the kegs were empty.
